Big Tobacco’s years of notorious marketing prioritizes profits over public health,sparking the idea for “Shapeshifter,” our statewide campaign for Tobacco Stops With Me. By personifying Big Tobacco as a shapeshifting character, the campaign exposes a uniquely jarring perspective of the strategies they use to lure Oklahomans into a lifetime of addiction. Big Tobacco takes on the form of everyday Oklahomans, including teens, Black Americans, low-income Oklahomans and women, among others, allowing viewers to visualize the industry’s outrageous and deadly schemes.
